USE OF GENERATOR
1. Pre-Operation Check
Check the fuel level gauge.
Refill the tank if the fuel level is low. Do not
fill above the shoulder of the fuel strainer. Use only unleaded petrol.
Never use stale or contaminated fuel or fuel
mixture. Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank.
Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped. Do not
allow flames or sparks in the area where the engine is refueled.
Do not overfill the fuel tank. After refilling, make sure the tank
cap is closed properly and securely. Be careful not to spill fuel when
refueling. Spilled fuel or fuel vapour may ignite. If any fuel is spilled, make
sure the area is dry before starting the engine.
2. Starting the Engine
Disconnect all electrical loads from the
engine.
Turn the fuel valve to the ON
position.
The automatic choke will be closed if the engine
is cold. If you want to operate the choke manually, move the choke rod out to
the CLOSED position.
Turn the engine switch to ON position.
Pull the starter grip lightly until resistance is felt, then pull
briskly.
If you have manually closed the choke, move it
to the OPEN position as the engine warms up.
Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine. Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter or housing.
